پاکستان کی پہلی خاتون شہید فائٹر پائلٹ آفیسر مریم مختار کا یوم پیدائش ہے۔

مریم مختیار 18 مئی 1992 کو کراچی میں پیدا ہوئیں۔

شہادت کا مرتبہ پا کر فلائنگ آفیسر مریم مختیار کو پاکستان کی پہلی خاتون شہید پائلٹ ہونے کا اعزاز بھی حاصل ہوگیا ہے 

۔ واضح رہے کہ مریم مختیار کا شمار لڑاکا طیارے کی ان پانچ خواتین پائلٹس میں ہوتا تھا جنہیں محاذ جنگ تک جانے کی اجازت تھی۔ 

عائشہ فاروق کے بعد مریم دوسری پاکستانی فائٹر پائلٹ تھیں۔ 

مریم مختار نے 6 مئی 2011ء میں پاکستان ائر فورس میں شمولیت اختیارکی اور 24 ستمبر 2014ء کو ائر فورس سے گریجویشن مکمل کی۔مریم مختیار 132 ویں جی ڈی پائلٹ کورس میں شریک تھیں ۔

24 نومبر 2015ء کی صبح مریم اپنے انسٹرکٹر، ثاقب عباسی کے ساتھ معمول کی مشق پر روانہ ہوئیں۔ جب وہ ضلع میانوالی کے گاؤں کندیاں کی فضاؤں میں پرواز کررہے تھے، تو اچانک انجن میں آگ لگ گئی اور وہ دھڑا دھڑ جلنے لگا۔ اس سنگین صورت حال میں ضروری ہوتا ہے کہ پائلٹ جہاز سے فوراً باہر چھلانگ لگادے۔ تبھی اس کی جان بچ سکتی ہے۔ مگر مریم شہید اور ثاقب عباسی کے ضمیر نے فوراً چھلانگ لگانا گوارا نہ کیا۔

دراصل اس وقت ان کا طیارہ آبادی کے اوپر اڑ رہا تھا۔ اس کے پرے کھیت واقع تھے۔ دونوں بہادر پائلٹوں نے فیصلہ کیا کہ چھلانگ لگانے کا فیصلہ چند لمحوں کے لیے ملتوی کردیا جائے تاکہ طیارہ آبادی کے بجائے کھیتوں کے اوپر پہنچ جائے ۔ وہ اپنے ہم وطنوں کو ہر قسم کے جانی و مالی نقصان سے بچانا چاہتے تھے۔ مگر یہی چند قیمتی لمحے مریم کی شہادت کا سبب بن گئے۔

پاک وطن کی اس دلیر بیٹی نے جان کی قربانی دے کر دفاع پاکستان پر مامور ہر مرد و عورت کا سر فخر سے بلند کردیا۔ پاک افواج میں شامل ہر جوان کی ذمے داری ہے کہ اگر ملک و قوم کا تحفظ کرتے ہوئے جان دینی پڑے ،تو وہ یہ عظیم ترین قربانی دینے سے ہرگز پرہیز نہ کرے۔ مریم شہید نے اپنی ڈیوٹی نہایت خوبی سے ادا کی اور اہل وطن کی زندگیاں بچاتے ہوئے اپنی جان قربان کردی۔ 

مریم شہید کو لاکھوں سلیوٹ!

جب محو پرواز طیارے میں معمولی سی آگ بھی لگے، تو وہ انتہائی تیز ہوا کے سبب چند سیکنڈ میں پھیل کر پورے جہاز کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیتی ہے۔ اسی لیے دیر سے چھلانگ کے سبب دونوں پائلٹ دھوئیں اور آگ کی لپیٹ میں آگئے۔ خطرناک صورتحال نے ثاقب عباسی کو زخمی کردیا، تاہم وہ مریم مختار کی جان لے کر ہی ٹلی۔ زبردست شجاعت اور احساس ذمے داری دکھانے پر شہید مریم کو بعداز مرگ تمغہ بسالت سے نوازا گیا۔ 

مریم کو یہ اعزاز بھی حاصل ہے کہ آپ دوران ڈیوٹی شہید ہونے والی پاک فضائیہ کی پہلی فائٹر پائلٹ ہیں۔

مہرین جبار وطن عزیز کی نامور ڈرامہ ڈائریکٹر اور پروڈیوسر ہیں۔ کچھ عرصہ قبل انہیں خیال آیا کہ مریم مختار شہید کی زندگی پر ٹیلی فلم بناکر ان کی خدمات کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا جائے۔ چناں چہ انہوں نے ممتاز ادیبہ، عمیرہ احمد سے سکرپٹ لکھوایا پھر سرمد کھوسٹ نے ٹیلی فلم کی ہدایات دیں۔’’ایک تھی مریم‘‘ نامی اس ٹیلی فلم میں منفرد اداکار، صنم بلوچ نے مریم کا کردار نہایت خوبصورتی و چابک دستی سے ادا کیا ہے۔

مریم مختیار صرف 22 سال کی تھی جب انہوں نے جام شہادت نوش کیا، آپ کو حکومت پاکستان کی طرف سے بعد از شہادت تمغہ بسالت سے نوازا گیا ۔

مریم مختیار فٹ بال کی عظیم کھلاڑی تھی،

 انہوں سے2007 میں نیشنل فٹبال چیمپین شپ میں بلوچستان کی نمائندگی کی، وہ ایک پر اعتماد اور کرشماتی خاتون تھی

آپ اپنی ماں کی عظیم بیٹی ہیں ، آپ نے اپنی دن دگنی محنت سے ایک عظیم خاتون فائٹر پائلٹ بننے کا اعزاز حاصل کیا،

 آپ کے والد بھی پاکستان آرمی سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں، 

آپ کی شہادت پے پوری دُنیا میں ہر آنکھ اشکبار تھی ، آپ کی کچھ عرصہ بعد شادی تھی۔

ہم آج کے دن آپ کو پوری قوم کی طرف سے خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں ۔

Maryam Mukhtiar was born on May 18, 1992 in Karachi.

Flying Officer Maryam Mukhtiar has been honored to be the first female martyr pilot of Pakistan.

۔ It should be noted that Maryam Mukhtiar was one of the five female pilots of the fighter jet who were allowed to go to the battlefield.
Maryam was the second Pakistani fighter pilot after Ayesha Farooq.

Maryam Mukhtar joined the Pakistan Air Force on May 6, 2011 and graduated from the Air Force on September 24, 2014. Maryam Mukhtiar participated in the 132nd GD Pilot Course.

On the morning of November 24, 2015, Maryam left for a routine exercise with her instructor, Saqib Abbasi. While they were flying in the skies of Kandian village in Mianwali district, suddenly the engine caught fire and it started burning. In this critical situation, it is necessary for the pilot to jump out of the plane immediately. Only then can his life be saved. But the conscience of Maryam Shaheed and Saqib Abbasi did not want to jump immediately.

In fact, at that moment, his plane was flying over the population. Beyond it were fields. The two brave pilots decided to postpone the decision to jump for a few moments so that the plane could reach the fields instead of the population. He wanted to save his countrymen from all kinds of loss of life and property. But these few precious moments became the cause of Mary's martyrdom.

By sacrificing her life, this brave daughter of Pakistan raised the head of every man and woman in defense of Pakistan with pride. It is the responsibility of every young man in the Pakistan Army to sacrifice his life while protecting the country and the nation. Maryam Shaheed performed her duty very well and sacrificed her life while saving the lives of the people.

That's why due to the late jump, both pilots were washed and caught fire. Dangerous situation injured Saqib Abbasi, however he escaped with the life of Maryam Mukhtar. Martyr Maryam was posthumously awarded the Basalt Medal for her tremendous courage and sense of responsibility.

Maryam also has the honor of being the first fighter pilot of the Pakistan Air Force to be martyred while on duty.Mehreen Jabbar Watan Aziz is a renowned drama director and producer. Some time ago, he came up with the idea of ​​making a telefilm on the life of Maryam Mukhtar Shaheed and paying tribute to her services.
